Honour Roll, St Stephen’s Anglican Church
Over the last 65 years many parishioners have dedicated their time and talents, volunteering for a multitude of roles which are needed to keep the church running smoothly. Church volunteers’ roles are diverse, ranging from administrative tasks to hands on roles. Historically youth group meetings, C.E.B.S./G.F.S. activities, choir meetings and Sunday school played an important role in our church life. Today kids talks, musicians & music leaders, communion helpers, cleaners, sacristans, welcomers, intercessors, bible readers, market stall helpers and morning tea organisers continue to play their role. Additionally, maintaining the church's appearance through lawn care, painting, and tidying up on working bee days is crucial. These efforts contribute to creating a welcoming space and attractive environment for all parishioners. Volunteering within the church is essential for nurturing a vibrant ministry and achieving our mission to connect with those around us while growing as disciples of Jesus.
